Calling Time Plans


Calling time plans can be added to allow control for the timing of call periods in different areas.  If you dial in different parts of the world for example, you can set different plans for the different time zones.

Calling Time Plans override all other dialling schedules meaning if you have a calling time plan set to end at 8pm no calls can be made using this plan from the system after this time, regardless of campaign or list schedules.  


You can also add Calling Time Plans to data imports, so if users are importing certain data such as international phone numbers, they can add a calling time plan to just that import.  If the number column is mapped to a phone type, mobile/home etc, it will dial regardless of the type of number.  e.g. if the numbers being imported are different types but the list/call time plan is one for 'mobiles'.


Calling time plans are added/assigned at list level in the 'Plans' section.


Clicking the plan button will open an empty ‘Edit Plan’ area on the screen.

Here, users can enter a name for the plan, make it active/inactive and add a description for the plan.


Spans

Once the plan has been created, users can then set (Time) Spans against the Plan.  Users can have multiple spans set against individual plans, these spans can be setup with various options.  Clicking a - will remove the assigned span from the Calling Plan.  Clicking a + will add the assigned span to the Calling Plan.


Edit Span

Clicking on a span opens up the edit area on the right hand side.


Span Name – Users can add a name for the span here.

Active – Checking the box will make the span active, unchecking will make the span inactive.

Time Zone – Users can select the time zone here.

Phone Type – Users can select between Home, Work and Mobile.

Start Time Zone – Users can select a starting time zone here.

End Time Zone – Users can select an ending time zone here.

Time slider – By clicking and dragging the red lines, users can set the times to call between. Alternatively, users can enter the times in the boxes.
