What's new for Contact Hub for 7.8.0 Release?

  • Payment Providers. Global Payments is now available as a payment provider in Payment Portal, supporting one-off payments and card tokenisation.
  • Outcomes. You can now change a result code on a manual dial within a progressive campaign without hitting an error message. No action is needed on your part.
  • Contact History. We've fixed an issue where leads with calls placed on interaction campaigns showed a duplicate, mislabelled Webchat entry alongside the real call in their history tab. Lead history now shows just the one correctly labelled call. Genuine webchat, email, SMS, WhatsApp, and Facebook interactions are unaffected, and no action is needed.

What's new for Manager Portal for 7.8.0 Release?

  • Custom Field Filtering. We've fixed filtering on imported custom Boolean and Date fields across List Data Manager, Lead Search and Edit, Lead Management, and Skills Based Routing. Boolean filters for equal true or equal false now return the correct results, and Date filters now work with equal, not equal, greater than, and less than, not just between. There's nothing you need to do, your filters will just work as expected.
  • Inbound Numbers. Creating a new inbound number in Management Hub now switches Active and Record Calls on by default. Previously, both had to be turned on manually after setup, which risked new numbers going live without recording enabled. Just create a number as usual and you'll see both set correctly from the start.
  • Remote Campaign Login. We've fixed a group of issues affecting remote campaign login and logout when triggered by an integration. Previously these could act on the wrong agent, with logout reporting success without actually logging the intended agent out. Both now correctly target the named agent every time. Session lookups now return only the requested agent's session, and agents on Break can now log into a campaign remotely where before these requests were wrongly refused. No action is needed.
  • Lead Edit. We've fixed an issue where opening a lead on systems with large data volumes returned an error instead of loading the Lead Edit page. The page now opens correctly, and every secondary field is editable, including empty fields and tables with no data at all.
  • Login Performance. Manager Portal logins are now faster and more reliable, especially when many agents sign in with SSO at the same time. Previously, every login had to check the entire user list, which caused slow sign-ins and could put pressure on the system during a mass re-login. Logins are now matched directly, so response times stay quick and consistent no matter how many people are signing in at once. Nothing changes from your side.
  • Campaigns API. We've added a new Telephony API endpoint that returns exactly the campaigns an agent can log into, matching what they see in Contact Hub. Previously, integrators could get back every campaign in the tenant regardless of team membership or eligibility. The new endpoint checks the agent's identity from their login token so results are always correct and specific to them. The older campaigns endpoint still works as before but is now marked as obsolete. No action is needed for existing agent logins.
  • Service Account Campaigns. The campaigns endpoint used by service account integrations can now fetch the selectable campaigns for a specific agent, not just the caller's own list. Calls that don't specify an agent work exactly as before, so nothing changes for existing integrations. Invalid or unknown agent IDs now return a clear error instead of silently falling back to the caller's own campaigns.

Database Updates

  • Outcome Codes. This update adds a new, longer Description field to the Outcomes Codes, replacing the previous Description field which is now called Name.
