To assist with the implementation of GDPR, we have developed a secure and safe way for users to transfer files to us in certain circumstances. This method also allows the upload of large sized files which cannot be achieved with other solutions.

Using the web page https://uploads.maxcontact.com/, users can enter their ticket number and choose a file to upload to the ticket.

The only file type users can upload is compressed .zip files.  To make any file a compressed .zip, all the user needs to do is to right click on the file, select 'Send to', then click 'Compressed (zipped) folder.

Once the .zip file has been selected, the user needs to click 'Upload!' and the file will upload to the ticket in the form of a web link which expires after 24 hours.

If users try to upload a file that hasn't been 'zipped', they will receive an error message at the top of the screen;

Once the .zip file has been uploaded successfully, the support team can then access the file through the ticket.
