Filter Options
The filter box shows four drop down menus where you can select from your campaigns, lists, teams and users. Whatever is selected, will reflect in the widgets on the dashboards. This means that dashboards could be created for different campaigns, different lists, show team stats side by side or they can be configured to display user’s performance side by side.
Groups
The filter selection also has the option to create ‘groups’ which you can select in the widgets. Clicking the '+' button will open up the Groups area;
The default setting displays 2 groups at the bottom of the filters. Clicking on the 'Create' button adds an additional group to the list, assigned a different colour, which can be customised.
Clicking the ‘pen/edit’ button to the right of the group name will give you the option to change the colour of the selected group, change the name of that group, delete the group or finish editing the selected group.
Once you have named a group & added a colour, click the green 'tick' button, you can then add another group if required (Up to a maximum of 10).
Clicking the red X button will delete the group selected.
Once complete, you can assign filters to the group by selecting it and changing the drop-down options to the desired result.
In the example, the green group is set to show stats from all campaigns, all lists and all users. However, it is set to only show the information for the team ‘Support’ team.
The groups filters can be set to show any combination of stats available in the drop down lists.
Once you close the ‘Filter Selection’ box you will notice that all the widgets on the dashboard have a coloured tab in the bottom left corner, if you have created 'groups'. This Should match the colour for the first group in the list on the filter options. Clicking on this tab will reveal the other groups coloured tabs.
Clicking on these tabs will change the information displayed in the widget, based on the ‘Filter selection’ for that particular group.
Know Your Widget
Clicking this icon will produce the widget toolbox where you can drag widgets to the dashboard. Clicking each of the Widget Toolbox ‘sets’ will open up a list of widgets for that set.
To select the widget required, click and drag the name of the widget onto the dashboard area. Once in this area, the widget should appear with the mouse cursor and it can be dragged to the position required. Releasing the mouse button will place the widget on the dashboard where it will ‘snap into’ position to maximise space on the dashboard.
You can place widgets on the dashboard in any order and any position you want, and they can be resized using the bottom right corner of the widget.
Most Widgets have the following options available in the top right-hand corner (They will be a different colour depending on the widget colour);
These are Settings, Clone and Delete.
Clicking on ‘Settings’ will open a new box with various options, which will be covered in more detail later, that are specific to the type of widget selected.
Selecting ‘Clone Widget’ will give a copy of the widget as it is on the screen. This is a quicker way of creating multiple types of widget which comes in very handy for creating dashboards quickly.
Clicking ‘Delete Widget’ will delete the widget from the dashboard.
Most widgets have a purple, ‘quick action’ tab that appears on the left-hand side of the widget. On all widgets, this gives you the quick click option of changing the font size of the widget rather than going into the settings option. Some widgets also show a small ‘spanner’ symbol which allows you to quickly change the contextual information displayed rather than going through the settings option.
