Adding Numbers
- Navigate to your Manager Portal, then go through to the Admin panel within the left-hand side menu. Under the General Tab select the Inbound Numbers page.
- On the Inbound Numbers page, you will see a catalogue of all of the present inbound numbers mapped into your system. To add a new number entry, select the [+] Add button in the top right, this will create a new row
- Fill out the required fields for the number entry
- Tel.No - Enter the telephone number you wish to add to your system
Bear in mind a valid telephone number is required with no spaces and starting with either a 0, two-digit country code or an asterisk (*) - Campaign(s) - Select the campaign that calls to this number will be associated with.
This is important when it comes to reporting as calls to this number will be recorded against this campaign. - List - Select the default list that calls to this number will be associated with.
This is important when it comes to reporting as calls to this number will be recorded against this list unless overridden by other settings. If a call to this number isn't matched to an existing lead, a new lead will be created and added to this list. Don't forget other system settings will affect the script that is presented to your users. - IVR - The IVR determines where the calls to this number will be routed by default.
Don't forget, that you are selecting the IVR start element here (The actual IVR name will appear in brackets) If you cannot see your IVR, it may be that it doesn't yet have a start element included. - For further information on the required fields and the optional configuration fields such as Tags, Emergency Routing please refer to the following Knowledge Base Article https://maxcontact.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/80000983636-inbound-numbers
- Tel.No - Enter the telephone number you wish to add to your system
- Once you have completed the row entry, make sure to click the save button to ensure the entry is saved to your system.
Removing Numbers
- Within Inbound Numbers, locate the number(s) you wish to remove. You can filter search through the current entries by selecting the Filter button in the top right.
- Select the trash can icon at the far right of the number entry to remove the number
- This will then provide a secondary pop-up to confirm the deletion, select OK to confirm the removal of the number or Cancel if you wish to not proceed.
