This feature allows you to set an expiry date on data you import into the system.
Use case examples
BPO's whose clients request that their data is only called until a certain date.
Internal stakeholders only wanting customers to be called for a set period of time.
Debt collection - Some clients use this to stop calling data after a certain date periodically.
This process is performed via DATA> IMPORT LEADS and the actual setting is found on the second stage (Settings page) of the import process. Once you set a date/number of days for expiry, that data will be removed from the system along with related call backs at midnight, on the date/day selected.
Import Leads. In import leads, on the settings section of an import set 'Enable Import Expiry' to yes.
Call backs expiry is on by default, currently you cannot switch this off.
For the expiry, you can set a specific date or the number of days from now.
Note - Ensure the date is entered correctly as this cannot be changed once the import has taken place (you can always rollback the import to repeat the entire process if a mistake is made).
Clicking 'Next' will display a dialog box for you to confirm the expiry setting.
Continue with your import process and complete the import.
Import Lead History. To look back at an import to see what date was entered, navigate to DATA> IMPORT LEAD HISTORY and search for the import(s).
Select the blue info button on the right hand side of the import and you will be presented with a dialog box.
The information for the Import Expiry is located on the 'Settings' tab.
