What is it?

A chrome plugin can be used to control the browser window, to maximise it and bring it to the front of the screen.

This will respond to an event triggered in dashboard/wallboard widgets.

Use case example

A user is in an inbound campaign in a not ready state and working in another browser window. When a call enters the queue, they need to be alerted so they can go ready and be passed the call. The extension automatically switches the browser window to the web agent, alerting them to the call.

How is the solution set up?

Please contact the MaxSupport team to ensure the feature is enabled on your portal.

Dynamic Nailup.

The extension works 'out of the box' with Dynamic Nailup campaigns in that, when a call is offered to a user and they are in a different browser window, the extension automatically switches their view to the correct browser window.

Dashboard & Wallboard Queue tile

Use the Stat Alert section of the ‘Queue’s tile/widget’ to collect threshold values for the event

v

Add a ‘Agent Notification’ type of ‘Force Focus’ to the queue’s widget to trigger the event

Once the selected data value exceeds the Threshold, the ‘Force Focus’ event will be triggered

Where is it located?

The plugin is available on the chrome webstore
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/max-contact-agent-extensi/cpabeedodjfmfcjjpcephhpigamahmdm?hl=en&authuser=0

This plugin can be installed on a local chrome browser, and must be installed in order for the functionality to run.

Who do I need to contact if there is an issue?

If there is a problem with the plugin, the MaxContact support team can be contacted.

What issues should I look out for?

By default, the plugin will not function in `incognito mode` and is configured to run on the following URLS:

  • *://*.maxcontact.com/*
  • *://localhost/*

Forgetting to enable `Can Send ACD Stats To Agent` will result in the web agent not updating and triggering the plugin

How is it configured?

You can modify some of the plugin configuration by right clicking on the plugin on your browser and selecting Manage Extensions

This page will let you disable certain URLS for running the plugin,

Let you enable the plugin in `incognito mode`

And let you disable / remove the plugin
