What's new for Contact Hub for 6.17.2 Release?
- Scripting. You can now request contact details from script URLs across all channel types. This was already available for Email, Call and Chat when using an email address, and it’s now been extended to ensure contact details are consistently returned wherever they’re needed. This means a smoother, more reliable experience when pulling customer information into your scripts.
Other Updates & Enhancements
- Telephony API. We’ve added extra safeguards to the API only, stopping agents from being switched to Ready or Not Ready while they’re on a call or wrapping one up. If an external system tries to change their status during this time, it will now receive a clear message explaining why the request can’t be completed.
