Whats new in MaxContact 2.17?


At MaxContact, we constantly strive to upgrade our product to provide you with the best possible performance.  As part of this philosophy, the latest build of MaxContact is scheduled to be installed on your platform.  Here are some of the bigger changes that have been made -


 



There have been various changes in 2.17 with GDPR in mind.  These include; 



Delete Leads -           


GDPR laws give European citizens the 'right to be forgotten' by companies that collect their data. One of the ways MaxContact complies with this aspect of the law, is by allowing customers' personal information to be anonymised in the Lead and Lead Phone tables, which are the two that contain personal information.  During this process, all call recordings concerning the relevant party are deleted.


 


Password Policy - 


This feature allows system admins and managers to set up configurable password plans that can be associated to user permission groups. This, in turn, allows password policies to be restrictive based on the sensitivity of the permissions associated with each permission group.


 


Emailing Reports - 


Email report links will replace the emailing of reports in their original form. In the 2.17 release of MaxContact the sent email contains a link to the report in question, which requires authentication for access. This provides a secure way to send and receive reports without sending customer data directly via email.


 



Importing Leads - 


As part of the Import Leads process, the file used is uploaded to the server and parsed. After the import has completed the file is removed from the server.


 


 



UI Improvements


We are constantly trying to make MaxContact the most user friendly contact centre suite possible. With that in mind, we have made several UI improvements to different areas of the dialler, including themes, Import Leads & Lead Management page re-designs, as well as several other small, visual changes within the product.


 


 



Other Features and Changes


Along with the above changes, we have added many other new features, which will improve the product as a whole.
