The 5.0.3 update contains one new feature centred around withheld numbers. As well as this, we have included some fixes, enhancements and one new database addition.
New Features
Manager Portal/Withheld Number Option
For certain customers there is a real reason why they can't present a telephone number on an outbound call. Due to recent legislation changes, additional controls have been implemented and evidence of why you are doing this needs to be shared via MaxContact to our carriers.
If you require this functionality on any of your campaigns, please reach out to your account manager to discuss how you can arrange for this to be enabled. For all clients who do not have this functionality enabled, if you attempt to present a withheld number, calls will not connect. Once this feature has been enabled, within the CTU page you will see an option to withhold the number from a campaign.
Once enabled, the option to set a CLI presentation number will not be visible.
This setting will override all other settings E.g. Lead level number presentation, list level number presentation etc.
Product Updates
To give you greater visibility of changes we have made in this release, please find below details of fixes, changes and enhancements to the product.
Manager Portal/UI
General improvements. A number of UI defects have been resolved within the Manager Portal.
Manager Portal/Management
Campaign Manager. For certain users, when they attempted to add images to Wallboards, the images would appear when designing the Wallboard however at times, wouldn't appear in the published Wallboards. This has now been updated to ensure this problem doesn't occur.
Manager Portal/BI
Recording Playback. To keep the UI tidy, dropdowns only show active Users, Team, Campaigns etc. Unfortunately within the Record History page and Recording Playback page, in addition to the dropdown not showing inactive users, the grid itself wouldn't show any users who are not active. This has now been updated and inactive users will now be visible in the grid.
Manager Portal/Data
Evaluations. A navigation issue would appear for certain users when attempting to navigate to the ticket history page from the evaluations page, the broken link has now been resolved.
Applications/Customer facing
Web chat. An improvement has been made to the Webchat functionality used on your website(s). Previously if a customer was waiting to be answered and their request timed out, they would need to start the process again. Now simply pressing 'Try Again' will add the customer straight back into the queue.
Database Updates
For clients that use the MaxContact replication database, the below changes have been made.
- The campaign table has a new column added called withhold_number which has been added as part of the implementation of the Withheld Number functionality for campaigns. The field is a boolean and defaults to false.
