The custom report builder lets users create their own reports that can be scheduled or generated at any time.
- At the top of the screen, users will see the 'create new report' button. Clicking this button will change the screen to show a blank report and the options to edit.
Reports
Here, users can see a list of the current custom reports in the system.
Data tables
Here, the data tables in the system can be selected which will populate the 'Fields' list with the fields from the selected data. The following tables as well as any custom tables will be selectable;
Queue
User
Team
List
Campaign
History
Supplier
Lead
Selected Fields
Once the relevant data table has been selected, users can click the + icon next to the field to add them to the report. When this is done, the selected fields will show under the 'Selected Fields' header. Clicking the - icon will remove the field from the list and users can drag and drop fields to reorder them for the report.
Settings and Criteria
Users can enter a name for the report here and also add rules to the report.
If any fields from the history table have been selected then you will also see the following dropdown;
When using fields from the History table you can choose between the two options;
Join Latest History To Lead - This means you will see the latest History entry only.
Join Lead To History - This will show multiple rows of ALL the history for the lead.
Rules
Rules allow you to look at your data in more detail in various ways such as; 'only show data where the postcode starts with XX' or 'only show data where the DOB is after XX/XX/XXXX'.
Save and delete
When changes are made to any part of the report, the save and delete
buttons appear in the top right corner of the screen. Clicking the delete button will prompt the user with the following dialog box;
Once the report has been created and the user has saved it, they can access it and run it from REPORTING > REPORT VIEWER and then select it from the 'Custom' tab. Users can also schedule the report to be sent out via email just like the default ones.
