Block cross tag assignment is a permission in the tagging section of the permissions page. With the permission enabled, it ensures that when you: -

  • Assign a list to campaign
  • Setup a campaign and select a default list
  • Assign users to teams and teams to campaigns
  • Assigning users to queues

You can only assign items with the same or one of the same tags. If they do not share the same tag, a dialogue box will appear (Page & action dependant) see below.


Note - Users without this permission on their role will still be able to assign regardless of tags. 


Manage campaigns - When dragging a list into a campaign without a matching tag;


CTU - When adding a team to a campaign without a matching tag;


CTU - When adding a user to a team without matching tags;


CTU - When changing a campaigns default list to one without a matching tag;

Queues - When adding a user to a queue without matching tags.
