Version 4.8.1 of the product brings a new explore page, multi factor authentication, 5 new reports, an email subfolder option and the usual quality of life fixes and enhancements.
New Features
Manager Portal/Explore Page
We've added a new page to the product to allow you to get to key features and pages quickly, you can also see upcoming features and those that aren't being utilised. As well as this, all current integrations are displayed. A click of a card gives you the ability to jump to the page in question, contact the team to allow access or discover more about the features you aren't currently using. Login/Multifactor Authentication
Multi factor authentication (MFA) means your users are prompted during the sign-in process for a code in an authenticator app. This layered security reduces the risk of your user's credentials being hacked or misused. For more on this, see this guide.
Channels/Email interaction subfolders
This new feature allows users of email interactions to enable emails to be pulled from an alternative location. The source location can be either an inbox sub-folder or an alternative top level folder. Please see this guide for further detail.
New Reports
As previously stated, our reports are part of our products identity and we want them to make a lasting impression. We know some of our current reports are in need of a facelift so to ensure they meet everyone's expectations we are giving each report a refresh.
Because reports are heavily used by all our customers, we wanted to give you time to get used to the new format and to be able to recreate schedules on the new versions. Existing reports that have a 'new' version will be removed at the end of the year (with the first new version of the product in 2023). New reports will be released over a number of versions until all existing reports are replaced before this deadline.
As new reports are added, existing versions will include the 'new' reports name so you are aware of which report replaces it.
Report Viewer/Break Summary by Day
New Break Summary by Day report which is the rebranded Break Daily report.
Report Viewer/Break Summary by Campaign
New Break Summary by Campaign report which is the rebranded Break Overview report.
Report Viewer/Status Change Detail
New Status Change Detail report which is the rebranded Agent Status Change report.
Report Viewer/Abandoned Summary (Inbound) report
New Abandoned Summary (Inbound) report which is the rebranded Inbound Abandoned Calls.
Report Viewer/User Attendance report
New User Attendance report which is the rebranded Agent Attendance report.
Product Enhancements
Manager portal/Admin
Channels. Included subfolders for OAuth authentication where used.
Manager portal/Management
Callbacks. A 'select all' option for the list of callbacks has been added to the page after customer feedback on the redesign.
Manager portal/Reporting
Occupancy summary by campaign report. We have added a total row to the report, so that there is a summary and also so that it is consistent with other reports.
Status Change Detail report. We have updated the current status calculation to divide all other statuses, apart from break, by man hours on this report to align with other reports.
Occupancy Agent report. We have added some enhancements to the way this report calculates and updates.
Manager portal/Web agent
Web chat. An issue was identified where, in specific circumstances, webchats would be presented in an incorrect order when users were in a different time zone. This issue has been resolved in the update.
Interaction dispositioning. An issue was identified and resolved where ending an interaction via the 'end interaction (red X)' button would make script dispositions unusable.
